I think a great sense of humor is a must! If you can't laugh at yourself and others;) whats the point? Humor is a rubber sword-it allows you to make your point without drawing blood. Life can be very tough but if you have the ability to laugh at it, then you can enjoy it...

Hello all, I figured I would try this site so, here we are. I like playing with my kids and dog, walking, many types of art and sometimes just lazying around the house. Speaking of my kids I just had a new little one on April 29th. So now I have three and my shop is closed if you know what I mean. Three is enough for me.

I'm a registered nurse, I love my job. I have 4 kids, and a great dane. I've been divorced once 3 years ago after 10 years. I love being a dad, and am very involved with my children. If you don't like kids, dogs, and getting dirty sometimes move along.

I dream of one day being a fashionable New Yorker but instead I am a fashionably West Texan which is kinda like being the tallest person in munchkinland.

I. moved back to Texas from Tennessee almost 7 months ago(and the reason why sucks and so does moving back). If you wanna know why just ask but no one wants to hear a sob story(thought I'd warn ya).

I'm fairly new to the internet dating(had one relationship that worked on this internet socialization thing) and stuff of that sort, so I don't really know what to put on here or anything of that sort. So here goes...

I'm not particular about the people I have for friends as long as we get along. I'm into women(not girls,you know who you are)who don't take life too seriously. In other words those that can take and dish out jokes, but can still be serious when the time comes. Of course those who are not too bitchy, snooby, etc.(you know who you are yet again), looks are not very important just as long as we like each other.

I like to go out to the bookstore to see if I can find any new books and manga as well(yes i know some think it's geeky that I read manga,but I like what I like) to entertain myself(and maybe learn something new). If you read any worthwhile books, let me know of some good books to get a hold of. If I'm not doing that then I'm probably playing video games, playing some sportsfootballs my fave or just trying to find something new and fun to do or with my friends. I also would like to learn the Japanese language(I'll try that once I decide when I'm ready and can afford for college).

When I'm not at work, I'm out trying to find something new to pass the time, or having a few beers at a bar, playing beer pong at home while throwing a party, or out with some friends.

I like all kinds of different things some of them manly like sports(don't get me started on football) some geeky like I said earlier(yay books,manga, and video games). Love anything that's funny(everyone needs a good laugh). Hell I even like some of the sad stuff(although I'll try to hide that fact). Any kind of music can be good as long as I'm not hearing the same crap in every song I listen to(and that goes for all types of music not just rap). I'll even listen to music in languages I don't even know as long as I like the what it sounds like, then ill try and find out what it means.

I love to learn new things just because you never know when they will come in handy(becoming a jack of all trades will have its uses). I will try almost anything(as long as in my opinion its not weird,creepy, or dangerous) so long as it's fun or just entertaining. Same goes for music and t.v.

I might not be the smartest one in a room but I can be quite a bit more intelligent than I let on(I just like to keep things as simple as possible, keeps people guessing when I actually bother to say something worthwhile).

Here's some things I'm not so good at or I just totally suck at. Multy-tasking I don't so so well(so if I'm doing something and someone is talking to me I probably didn't hear them). Don't ask me to dance there is no question about it I have no rhythm and possibly two left feet(plus it just embarasses the crap out of me) although would like to change that at some point(and it does change when I'm drunk I just don't care then,like anyone else). I don't know very much about cars, just the basic stuff, but would like to learn a bit more. I can't draw or write anything that anyone would like(not an artistic bone in my body anymore, broke them all) but I will give it a shot every now and again, usually when I'm bored, or actually inspired(happens very rarely nowadays)

I was just thinking that the last time I lost a foot race was when my son and I were on a hike in the mountains. We walk up on one of those mean and nasty copper heads. I think that its very hard to describe oneself. One of my dreams to accomplish was to be in the Military. Which I did. Joined the Marine Corps right out of High School. Traveled all over this country. Being in the Military, kind of makes you more disciplined than most. I have gotten better about being such a neat freak...lol. At least its not an obsession....lol. I cook and eat very healthy. I exercise at least 5 days a week. I have my own piece of equiptment. I volunteer at the VA during the week. I also work a couple of days a month at the Panhandle Art Center. I also attend Church on a regular basis. God is very important in my life.

Well for starters I'm a single dad of two tremendous children. I do have custody of them so they live with me full time. They are the most important things in my life. My daughter is fourteen and my son is twelve. I work for a plumbing company that specialises in commercial work and boiler service. I'm in an office position and working my way through the ranks.
